How do you make Tiramisu?

By METRO COOKWARE

Tiramisu is a coffee-flavored Italian dessert. Also known as the most famous and popular Italian dessert. It is made of Savoiardi or ladyfingers dipped in coffee, it is layered with a whipped mixtures of eggs, sugar and mascarpone cheese, flavored with cocoa. Its name, tiramisu, means “pick me up,” a citation to the stimulating effects of the caffeine in the recipe’s espresso and chocolate.

It became so popular that in 2017 it had received an international food holiday: World Tiramisu Day, celebrated on March 21st, the first day of spring in Italy.

There’s another story version of the Italian dessert that it was invented in the 19th century by a maîtresse’ (mistress) and owner of a brothel (prostitute den) that the Italian dessert is an aphrodisiac and restorative for their customers. The origin of modern Tiramisu is highly disputed because of its long and controversial backstories.

Let’s start to make our home-made Tiramisu with the help of Metro Cookware, Metro Bakeware and Metro Dinnerwares.
